What it is
Three products with one idea: the legal paperwork in a Danish life should be guided, correct and kept in one place.
- Notarium is company administration as software for Danish ApS (and, structurally, A/S). Wizards produce the legal documents a company needs, a deadline tracker keeps every statutory deadline, and a document vault holds the company’s history.
- Testarium is a will builder, made for the phone first. Denmark first.
- Keystone is a vault for your life and legacy: the emergency information your family needs, and what you want to leave behind.
Memora, an earlier attempt at wills and powers of attorney on web and iOS, was the precursor to Testarium.
Why
These are documents people put off because they are expensive, confusing and full of legal terms. Most of the work is asking the right questions in the right order, and the law is precise enough to encode. That makes it a software problem.
How it’s built
All three are Rails 8.1 apps on Postgres with Hotwire, Tailwind and the Solid Queue/Cache/Cable stack, each deployed as a single container. Notarium runs on my own platform.
In Notarium, the law is data, not code. The Danish rules live in a versioned “country pack” of YAML definitions, deadline rules and templates, each with the date it takes effect. The engine only knows about companies, events, documents and deadlines, so another country is a new pack, not a rewrite. Nothing is ever deleted or overwritten: completed legal events are corrected by new events, and every change is kept in the history.
Login is by magic link, with no passwords. Payments run on Stripe, and the Danish interface is the source for all text.
Where it stands
All three are being built. Notarium is furthest along and deploys to production automatically on every push.
